Our Steps to Success programme is fully funded by DEFRA and their Future Farming Resilience Fund. As part of our obligations to DEFRA, we will need to share certain personal information with DEFRA/RPA and their external evaluator (from hereon in referred to as DEFRA). Under UK and EU data protection legislation and due to the nature of this work, we require your consent to do this.
Specifically, the identifiable personal information we will share with DEFRA includes:
- Full name
- Address (including postcode and house number)
- Email address
- Telephone number
- SBI number
- Your answers to the participation questionnaire that will be asked before and after your involvement in our Steps to Success programme
We will also need to share with DEFRA the following information but only on an anonymised and aggregated basis:
- Geographical Location
- Farm type
- Farmer status
- If farming is main occupation
- Number of employees on farm
- How many years farming
The information we collect as part of the Steps to Success programme, i.e. your costs of production, will not be shared with DEFRA. However, we will share the anonymised and aggregated results achieved based on our Steps to Success plan, i.e. the percentage of people on each step by category.
Your personal data will be kept by Kite Consulting for a period of 18 months following the completion of this project. After this time, your personal information will be deleted and any remaining business information will be anonymised.
